Artist Statement
I’m unsure of a lot of things, but when I'm painting, the unsureness slowly melts away. I tend to think of a blank canvas as the beginning of a clean, empty glass.
The modern person is prideful and refuses to admit when they don’t know something. My collection is a humbling opportunity to learn new things and revise the childlike joy of being surprised. Whatever you learn, share it meekly.
